Wait one min. Turn off- leave for 10 secs. Start engine. As above but leave for one minute until power latch has finished. I prefer to have car at operating temperature first though, a)start engine & leave until fan cuts in (will take 10-15minutes) b)switch off one minute. c)switch ignition on (dont start) one minute. d)switch off one minute.

On my way to work this morning just coming off the motorway i got a beep beep noise followed by Engine fault and a Spanner appear on my dash, this then stopped and dissapeared. when it happened the car juddered slightly but carried on going. its a 1.2 3dr Active 16v. I have spoken to my most Fiat Stilo 1.6 16v / 1.4 16v - problem sa paljenjem. By nebriga, To sa idikacijom engine fault se gubi posle treceg paljenja ,ako nema vise greske.I'm at my wit's end so welcome all serious suggestions. For the past 4 months I've been getting the dreaded ASR, Alternator, loose connection fault in my 2003 Stilo 16v 1.6. So far I have: -Replaced the ECU with a new one -Checked all Earths -Checked battery voltage and alternator charge

The engine fault light came on a couple of weeks ago and the car cuts out all the time when I stop a junctions/lights etc. Took it to a garage I know as service and MOT were due. Changed the cambelt too as done 74k miles. The Garage cleared the fault code and said it was the MAP sensor but probably something to do with air.And have engine fault (network fault and 1700=NCM-NBC communication) Why? The 1.8 engine temperature sensor has a 4 pin connector, but only 3 of them are populated. Referring to the diagram below, A1 = Empty, A2 = Red/black. B1 = White, B2 = Orange. Test the resistance of the sensor between pins B1 and B2 with the engine hot and cold. .
Okay so last Saturday I bought a 04 1.6 Stilo and was over the moon with it it's got full service history great condition and i've always been a fan of Fiats after my first wee punto but today on the way from work yesterday, after only doing 40 miles in it since I bought it I was going around aHi Had the engine warning noise and display for the last two days, rang Fiat "we can book it onto the computer 2 weeks on saturday".
