The button to the left is, I believe, for deactivating the interior sensors. The switch to disable is the one to the left. The switch to disable the interior sensors is where the blank is on your picture. This would suggest that your car is not an Exclusive and there is no alarm fitted.

Inside the boot peel back the side trim and you will see a hole with wiring passing through. With perseverance you can feed a cable through here and down the hole you removed the grommet from. Use this wire to feed the 4 sensor wires back into the inside of the car. You can locate the sensor box and beeper inside this void.
I recently got a 2016 C4 Grand Picasso exclusive and as a family we are loving it. Unfortunately the car has developed a problem which is probably my fault. My other car's battery was dead so I used the C4 to jump start the other car.
