A lot of the community seems mixed on the multiplayer because the gameplay has come a long way since then and they didn't remove things that some players hated (overpowered noob tubes, Juggernaut, last stand etc.) 1. Tier 1 Thoughts. Played a few games. Honestly, just wanted normal hardcore mode. This is more realism than anything. No hit markers, no kill feed, no cross hairs, and no kill confirmation pop up. So is Modern Warfare a Prequel or a Reboot. Yes. Chronology-wise, it starts before where the story in the original MW wouldve, youre seeing the formation of 141 rather than joining it when its already established, but this MW doesnt lead into the story of the original MW. Rather, its the setup for an entirely new timeline.
